The Primary Club of Australia Inc is represented by past and cricket players and other athletes, all of whom have made their mark in the respective sports. Led by our Twelfth Man and Patron Mark Taylor, our ambassadors represent the Primary Club in its mission to make sport and recreation available to all.

Mark Taylor AO

Former Australian cricket captain and Cricket Australia Director.

Mark Taylor AO

Mark Taylor is a former Australian cricket captain and Cricket Australia Director and current Nine Network commentator. An opening batsman and captain from 1994 to 1999, he is widely regarded as instrumental in Australia's rise to Test cricket dominance.

Former Australian cricket captain and respected cricket commentator.

Riche Benaud OBE

Richie Benaud OBE was a Foundation Member of the Primary Club of Australia and served as Vice President until his appointment as Twelfth Man and Patron in 2003.

Our first patron and a great supporter of the Primary Club.

Sir Roden Cutler was the longest-serving Governor of New South Wales, a distinguished diplomat and winner of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry "in the face of the enemy".

Alex Blackwell

Former Australian cricket captain and now a spokesperson for equality.

Alex Blackwell

Alex made her international debut for the Australian cricket team in 2003. She was the captain of the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in 2010 and the first Australian woman to play 250 games for her country.

Ed Cowan

Former Australian opening batsman.

Ed Cowan

A left-handed opening batsman, Ed Cowan played 18 test for Australia, scoring 1,001 runs. He also played domestically for New South Wales and Tasmania.

Pat Cummins

Current Australian cricket captain and fast bowler.

Pat Cummins is the current captain of the Australian mens cricket team. He is the first specialist bowler to captain the side since 1965.

Former ICC umpire and Channel Seven commentator.

A former ICC Umpire, Simon is known to many as a great servant of the game, having umpired 74 Tests, 174 ODIs and 34 T20Is. He has also appeared on Channel Seven as a cricket commentator.
