Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia (RDAA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, therapeutic, horse-related activities in Australia. RDA Programs cater to participants living with a wide range of intellectual and physical disabilities, starting from 3 years of age. RDA Centres offer a Come and Try session so you can see if the programs meet participants’ goals and expectations.

RDA provides services via multiple local club organisations around the country. In recent times, the Primary Club has assisted clubs with the provision of safety ramps for wheelchair riders to be assisted on to their mount, or safety fencing to protect the areas in which the horses are able to ramble.

To find a centre near you or learn how you can volunteer, go to the RDAA website.
