Primary Club Members join with our friends at I Zingari CC with the news that former President of both organisations, Rodney Tubbs, has been honoured by Sydney University with the award of an Honorary Fellowship “for his ongoing dedication to the University of Sydney's sport and fitness community”.
Rodney’s connection with the University commenced while playing football in the 1960s, winning a ‘Blue’ in 1967, thereafter working with the Sports Union on multiple fund-raising endeavours, and later serving as Chair of the University Sports Foundation.
The Rodney B Tubbs trophy is contested each year between the Primary Club and I Zingari at the latter’s magnificent home ground at Camden.
